About this book :-
This is a book on linear algebra and matrix theory. It gives a self- contained treatment of linear algebra with many of its most important applications. It is very unusual if not unique in being an elementary book which does not neglect arbitrary fields of scalars and the proofs of the theorems. It is also assumed that the reader has had calculus. Some optional topics require more analysis than this, however the subject of linear algebra is likely the most significant topic discussed in undergraduate mathematics courses.

About Author :-
The author Kenneth Kuttler is Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Brigham Young University. Kenneth Kuttler received his Ph.D. in mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin in 1981. From there, he went to Michigan Tech. University where he was employed for most of the next 17 years. He joined the faculty of Brigham Young University in 1998 and has been there since this time. Kuttler's research interests are mainly in Partial Differential Equations for nonlinear initial boundary value problems, especially those which come from physical models that include damage, contact, and friction. Recently he has become interested in stochastic integration and the related problems involving nonlinear stochastic evolution equations.
